Why is Syria being attacked? There are lots of reasons and they have everything to do with israel and the bankers that own it. Few people realize that Jews can't buy land in israel. They can only lease it. This allows the Rothschilds, through the government, to control the land into the future. If they sold it to israeli Jews, it is always possible that the land could be sold on to Arabs, for instance. By leasing the land, the Rothschilds maintain power over it. And power and control is what it is all about once you have enough money to buy absolutely anything you want and have more money than anyone else. When you are king of the heap, what else do you want? What would make a worthy ambition for a family like the Rothschilds? To rule the world? I think so. And israel is clearly a tool for that ambition.
Israel refuses to declare where its borders are and as it periodically extends it borders, it is reasonable to believe that they intend to continue expanding.
Eretz Israel
We know about Eretz Israel and that it is an ambition held by many Jews in israel and elsewhere. It includes land belonging to Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. So far israel has invaded Lebanon, Egypt (Sinai), Syria (Golan Heights), Jordan (the West bank) and Iraq (through its proxy, the US). Israel is now sponsoring the jihadi invasion of Syria. But, results wise, it has been a very mixed bag for israel up till now. While they still control the Golan Heights and Sheba Farms (Lebanon) and the West bank, they had to give back the Sinai to Egypt in a deal that guaranteed that Egypt would not attack them in the future. They have been kicked out of southern Lebanon by Hezbollah twice now and their jihadi servants are having a hard time hanging on to any gains in Syria.
In 2006 israel invaded southern Lebanon hoping to draw Syria into the conflict with the aim of then drawing in the US to support israel in attacking Syria and Iran as well because Iran has a mutual defence pact with Syria. But it all went pear shaped because Hezbollah managed to defeat israel all by themselves. So Syria was able to stay out of the conflict and denied israel and the US the excuse to attack it. Israel is now afraid of Hezbollah in Lebanon so in 2011 they chose to leapfrog over Lebanon and attack Syria directly, though using proxies; or patsies, if you like. So far, this proxy war strategy has kept israel safe from retaliation while it is bringing devastation to Syria and the Syrian people.
Obviously, Syria has land that israel wants but Syria's problems were compounded in 2009 when Bashir al-Assad announced his grand “Four Seas Strategy” plan to become an oil transit country linking Iranian and Iraqi oil to Syria's and then all of this going through Turkey to Europe. Notably left out of this scenario is israel who have oil transit (and control) ambitions of their own and they definitely do not include Bashir al-Assad. Although the plan involved using the Nabucco pipeline which is favoured by the West and also in trouble financially, it created a huge problem for Saudi Arabia and Qatar, too.
These two countries are ruled by Sunni Muslim elites over populations that are largely poor and Shiite. Syria's ambitious plan involved uniting three Shiite countries; Syria, Iraq and Iran. Together with Lebanon, these countries are known as the Shiite Arc stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean. Not only would it give these Shiite countries much influence over Europe (the destination of all this oil and gas) but it would bring considerable wealth to them allowing them to expand their economy. And all this at the expense of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and also israel.
This new oil revenue would allow Iran, Iraq and Syria to improve the lot of their citizens and make it increasingly difficult politically for Saudi Arabia and Qatar who keep their largely a Shiite populations poor in order to better control them. No doubt, the ruling families in these two despotic countries saw this as a direct threat to their power and privilege. It was, indeed, an existential threat to them. So Syria had to be attacked to head off this “Four Seas” pipeline consortium proposed by al-Assad. The four seas, btw, are the Persian Gulf, Caspian Sea, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean.
Al-Assad was hoping this would bring technology, expertise, industry and employment to Syria and given that the Syrian government owned and controlled its own central bank (in contrast to the central banks of western nations that are owned or controlled by largely Jewish bankers) it could have financed a good deal of it interest free and without the usual capital restrictions holding it back.
I mentioned in the previous essay how Britain drew Germany into two world wars in order to prevent it leaping ahead of Britain technologically and economically. Now we see that same strategy used against Syria and for the same reason. The link between Britain, israel and this common strategy is the London jewish bankers, of course.
Israel likes to present itself as a wealthy and technologically advanced nation but the truth is it is insolvent. It lives only through the largesse of American and German taxpayers and always has. Over 10 years ago, it was estimated that israel had cost US taxpayers $1.6 trillion. Thats over $250,000 per israeli. In 2007 it was estimated to have cost every taxpayer in the US $23,240Goodness knows what those figures are today. Israel cannot survive economically on its own and this is why it is desperate to gain control of oil pipelines and eventually oilfields to provide an independent revenue stream. While they display no shame at living off Germany and the US, it is not without its risks for israel.
Israel is short of water, too. With Syria under israeli control, either directly or through proxies, Hezbollah will find itself without Syrian support and Iran will find it much harder to support and supply Hezbollah with Syria no longer being able to act as a conduit for the shipment of physical supplies of all sorts including armaments. With Hezbollah weakened, israel will feel more confident in attacking and occupying southern Lebanon once again and tapping the water resources of the Litany River (once again!).
Taking out Syria allows israel to advance to the Iraqi border next to the Kurdish area. Israel has been courting the Kurds for decades and the Kurds control the northern Iraqi oilfields. No doubt, the israelis (although more probably their banker owners) will offer to pipe and market the Kurds' oil through what used to be Syria and on to Haifa and the Mediterranean Sea. From there to Europe with a handsome profit and control over the oil supply to Europe which they will then use to extort concessions of all sorts at critical times.
Taking out Syria would also chop one of the legs out from under Iran as far as military support goes. It would also cripple their efforts to pipe oil and gas overland to the Mediterranean and on to Europe. That would leave Qatar in the box seat to supply its gas to Europe and eliminate the threat to the Saudis. So you can see that this trio of scheming elites are natural allies because they have a common mindset and a common political and economic enemy. Qatar can supply the money, israel can supply the planning and access to the control of the US political class and hence to the military and military equipment and Saudi Arabia can supply the foot soldiers. This is the making of the perfect storm that has been unleashed on Syria who wanted nothing more than peace and prosperity; the two things that bankers traditionally find anathema to their profits and power.
Though they may not be fully aware of it, Syria also poses an existential threat to the bankers in London and New York through having and controlling their own central bank making it imperative for the bankers to cripple Syria. But as this involves other countries including Russia and Iran, I will address this issue more fully in a later article.
Russia has supported Syria for decades. Syria has been a long time customer for military materiel and provides Russia with a small naval base at Tartus giving the Russian Fleet a re-fueling and re-provisioning facility in the Mediterranean. NATO would like to take this facility away from them. NATO controls the whole coastline of the Mediterranean Sea except for the Syrian coast. Russia has a very strategic interest in Syria remaining free of the control of the jewish bankers and the countries these bankers control or have great influence over. So when it was looking increasingly like the US was going to intervene in Syria, Russia placed its warships off the coast of Syria to protect it.
I mentioned in my previous essay how Russia shot down two missiles fired at Syria by the Americans from the Mediterranean. Russia has said it now has Syria under its 'nuclear umbrella' making it impossible for the US or israel to invade Syria without risking nuclear war. But the bankers are desperate to preserve their money system and to build israel as a viable economy and cannot give up their ambition for complete hegemony over the world. So they are now attacking Ukraine with the aim of having the naval base at Sevastopol Russia taken away from Russia and so making it harder for the Russian Fleet to operate in the Mediterranean and thus harder for them to protect Syria.
Russia also sees that Syria is a domino that the US/israel wants to push over to help topple Iran and Iran is a commercial partner with Russia in the energy business as well. No doubt, Russia and Iran have discussed piping oil from Russia under the Capsian Sea and through Iran to the Persian Gulf to be shipped throughout Asia.
But Iran is subject to a never ending stream of threats from the US and israel. So the next question is, “Why Iran?”

Isreal
Last I heard they are claiming the border is Afghanistan to Morocco.
This is the only thing that will slow it down.

If they get their way, Mick, I doubt they will stop even there.
Oil and Diamonds
Israel wants most of that Caspian Basin oil to wind up at its port of Haifa, so it would become a lucrative hub for the 'awl bidness' like Antwerp, Belgium is to diamonds.
That way, they can make tons of money off various fees and not have to depend on those monthly welfare checks from Uncle Sam.
Yes, indeed! At least, that
Yes, indeed! At least, that is the plan. But it is all starting to fall apart for them. Russia has their measure. Saudi Arabia is in conflict with Qatar and now they are pulling all their terrorists out of Syria. Very embarrassing emails and phone calls are ending up in the hands of the public. The veil covering their evil behaviour is being lifted.
a false flag feeling?
sorry to butt in... but this story doesn't seem to be going away. This plane could be anywhere from Sri Lanka to Bangladesh (or beyond?) and China has a very big interest in finding it. As do several other nations.
the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer, USS Kidd, was heading to the Strait of Malacca, answering a request from the Malaysian government.
A convenient excuse to move pieces in place for a (the?) confrontation?
"China, which had more than 150 citizens on board the missing plane, has deployed four warships, four coastguard vessels, eight aircraft and trained 10 satellites on a wide search area. Chinese media have described the ship deployment as the largest Chinese rescue fleet ever assembled."
etc
6 hours
today they say the plane flew for 6 hours (not 4) after losing contact. That puts the range much further, the plane could be in Afghanistan
The whole thing sounds very
The whole thing sounds very weird to me, NJT. I haven't been following it to be honest but my first thought was, "who was on the flight?"
yes very weird
I noticed it when the story first broke, something about the way it was first presented seemed "weird" and the story has only gotten weirder each day.
On the plane was quite a mix, mostly Chinese. A couple of young Iranians with stolen passports who were clear of "terrorist links". The authorities are looking very closely at everyone on there. Very strange story.
Why Malaysia?
Hi NJT
I, as well, have not followed this story other than to know the bare details and that as you posted it has been confirmed that the flight carried on for 6 hours after it went 'missing'. Of course, the usual plethora of theories are dominating the discussion. Apparently, a large number of members from one high tech electronic company were onboard the plane. I have read a couple of different versions of where these people were from but I haven't looked into it any further.
What I have noticed in all the coverage is the deployment of military assets by a number of countries, including China, India and the US to assist in solving the mystery including the US sending unsolicited advisors from the FBI and other assorted security state personal to Malaysia.
To bring this incident into a world events context and in keeping with James' current theme, some good questions to ask may be, 'Why Malaysia? What does Malaysia have in common with Russia, Iran and Syria?" Could it have anything to do with their banking system?

Bankers on the flight?
So, i did a little googling....
I don't know who this youtube guy is but he is bringing to attention yet another banker suicide and he mentions a couple of times about bankers being on the flight along with the 20 members of the high tech company. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1DcFSnm8Ao&feature=youtube_gdata_player
http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/562572-freescale-semiconductor-20-employ...
"Freescale Semiconductor confirmed that it had 20 employees on board missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
The company said that 12 of the 20 are from Malaysia while the other eight are from China.
...
The company is a global one that is headquartered in Austin, Texas and has operations in more than 20 countries. Its technologies were used in the U.S. mission to land a man on the moon [sure they were! ] as well as the first two-way mobile radio that had a power supply and receiver for cars.
The company creates technology that is used in a range of products, such as eReaders and location tracking in smart mobile devices. "
===========
Freescale Semiconductor was formerly the Semiconductor division of Motorola.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freescale_Semiconductor
"Motorola announced that their semiconductor division would be divested on October 6, 2003 to create Freescale. Freescale completed its IPO on July 16, 2004.
On September 15, 2006, Freescale agreed to a $17.6 billion buyout by a consortium led by Blackstone Group and its co-investors, Carlyle Group, TPG Capital, and Permira.[20] The buyout offer was accepted on November 13, 2006 following a vote by company shareholders. The purchase, which closed on December 1, 2006, was the largest private buyout of a technology company until the Dell buyout of 2013 and is one of the ten largest buyouts of all time.[21]
Freescale filed to go public on February 11, 2011 and completed its IPO on May 26, 2011. Freescale is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol FSL. At the time of the IPO, the company had $7.6 billion in outstanding debt on its books,[22] and the company is being investigated for misconduct related to this IPO.[23]"
Blackstone
Look what Blackstone does. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blackstone_Group
"The Blackstone Group L.P. is an American multinational private equity, investment banking, alternative asset management and financial services corporation based in New York City. As the largest alternative investment firm in the world,[2] Blackstone specializes in private equity, credit and hedge fund investment strategies, as well as financial advisory services, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructurings and reorganizations, and private placements.[3]
Blackstone's private equity business has been one of the largest investors in leveraged buyout transactions over the last decade, while its real estate business has actively acquired commercial real estate. Since its inception, Blackstone has completed investments in such notable companies as Hilton Worldwide, Equity Office Properties, Republic Services, AlliedBarton, United Biscuits, Freescale Semiconductor, Vivint[4] and Travelport.[5]
Blackstone was founded in 1985 as a mergers and acquisitions boutique by Peter G. Peterson and Stephen A. Schwarzman, who had previously worked together at Lehman Brothers, Kuhn, Loeb Inc. Over the course of two decades, Blackstone has evolved into one of the world's largest private equity investment firms.[2] In 2007, Blackstone completed a $4 billion initial public offering to become one of the first major private equity firms to list shares in its management company on a public exchange.[6][7] Blackstone is headquartered at 345 Park Avenue in Manhattan, New York City, with eight additional offices in the United States, as well as offices in London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, and Dubai."
And their CEO and co-founder Stephen A. Schwarzman was doing some interesting philandering in 2013.
"Stephen A. Schwarzman is Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Blackstone. Mr. Schwarzman has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its founding in 1985. The firm is currently the world’s largest independent alternative asset manager with $266 billion Assets Under Management, as of December 31, 2013.
Mr. Schwarzman is an active philanthropist with a history of supporting education and schools. Whether in business or in philanthropy, he has always attempted to tackle big problems and find transformative solutions. In 2013, he founded an international scholarship program, “Schwarzman Scholars,” at Tsinghua University in Beijing, to educate future leaders about China. At $300 million, the program is modeled on the Rhodes Scholarship and is the single largest philanthropic effort in China’s history coming largely from international donors."
"Mr. Schwarzman is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations, The Business Council, The Business Roundtable, and The International Business Council of the World Economic Forum. He serves on the boards of The Asia Society, The Board of Directors of The New York City Partnership and The Advisory Board of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University, Beijing. He is a Trustee of The Frick Collection in New York City and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In 2007, Mr. Schwarzman was included in TIME’s “100 Most Influential People.” In that same year, he was awarded the Légion d’Honneur of France and promoted to Officier in 2010."
"To educate future leaders about China"
Say what? What future leaders? That doesn't sound very philantropic to me.
"Modeled on the Rhodes Scholarship"
Now that outta explain the who, whats and whys.
Schwarzman "delivered the 2011 keynote speech at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, an annual Catholic charity fund-raiser named in honor of the former governor of New York. Held at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in Midtown Manhattan, it is one of the most prominent charity events on the New York circuit, with presidential candidates often stopping by during election years.
By tradition, the keynote speaker of the 66-year-old event is supposed to deliver a mostly humorous speech, and Mr. Schwarzman’s roughly 15-minute peroration was laced with humor."
Some jewish humor for the catholic folks, I suppose.

Jesus! I gotta quit googling.
the plane mh370
Thanks for all the research McJ! I just don't know what to think,
American Everyman makes a good point, the red arcs are part of a circle with radius the distance from the receiving satellite to the engine sending "pings". where the red arcs meet is near where the plane was first thought to have gone down.

And I've read Mike McKay's Email, seems credible.
Theory 1: the plane is there in the water south of Vietnam below where Mike saw it burning
Theory 2: the plane was partially disabled due to a fire onboard, that destroyed all means of communication before the pilots or crew were aware of it. The pilots tried to turn back but didn't have enough control to attempt a landing, and flew with the controls they had as long as they could - several hours though? It seems that in this event they'd try to use a cell phone or buzz a control tower or something.
Theory 3: same as theory 2 except the fire also made pressurization impossible and everyone on the plane was quickly incapacitated, autopilot did its own thing for as long as it could.
Theory 4: hijackers / the pilots? landed it somewhere for what purpose? How could they have known they'd get there without military interception?
Tough to imagine, they may never find it.
witnesses or satellite data
It seems a legitimate news organization with some resources would send someone to Maldives, send someone to Mike McKay's oil rig, interview this woman http://english.alarabiya.net/en/variety/2014/03/21/Passenger-on-Saudi-Ai...
I have no idea how reliable the satellite data is, or the folks who are interpreting it. But I have a sneaking suspicion they're not going to find anything related to the plane southwest of Australia.
State sponsored terrorism?
After reading of the Malaysian woman who claims to have seen the missing plane from a Saudi airliner and her unsuccessful attempts to notify authorities, together with your pertinent question, Joe, about why no reporters scurrying to interview her and the oil rig guy, Mike McKay, I am reminded of the valuable litmus test for state involvement in a terrorist attack. That litmus test being, "What should have happened and yet didn't?"
The missing plane plot thickens
I haven't really been following this of late but this is a very interesting interview by Cynthia Mckinney with the top aide to former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir. He speaks in part to that valuable litmus test you mention, James. "What should have happened and yet didn't?" And he drops a valuable piece of the puzzle we haven't heard in the MSM. Two US military exercises were going on in the region of the Malaysia 370 flight path. Cobra Gold and Cope Tiger. Cope Tiger included U.S., Thailand, and Singapore only. Cobra Gold included Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Malaysia, plus Cope Tiger participants. And surprise, surprise, one of them (or part of one of them?) was a search and rescue excerise.
This guy is a lawyer and he wraps up the interview by saying he beleives that a crime has been committed and the questions that need to be asked (and answered) are, "Who has the capability to disappear a plane?" and "What was their motive." Good questions and easy to narrow that first one down. We might also ask, "Who had the opportunity?"
http://cprnews.podbean.com/2014/04/01/cpr-news-april-1-2014/
Good catch, McJ!
With military exercises involving the US underway in the area, there is simply no way the Malaysian Airlines flight was not being closely monitored as the interviewee says. So the US authorities know what happened to it. No surprises there.
That they are keeping that information secret says that the US was involved in its disappearance. No surprises there.
The fact that knowledge of the military exercises in the area is being withheld from the public says that the world news organisations are complicit in this tragedy. No surprises there.
That the disappearance is given 24/7 coverage means that there is a message being conveyed to someone through all this. That message would most likely be directed at the Chinese govt and perhaps the Malaysian govt as well. No surprises there, either.
There will be a reason why that particular flight was picked and will have to do with the personnel on board. I am reminded of israeli targeting of Iranian nuclear engineers.
