When the news is full of deception and grief, and your heart is full of pain and anger, you may find a certain cold comfort in these fine fashion accessories (especially the shoes) ...

On the other hand, if you're like me in any way at all, you may not. But I couldn't help mentioning them, since the name of the collection is so ... um ... familiar.

I hope to be back again soon with something serious.

Thanks very much for saying so. I miss my writing too, and I wish I could do more of it.

But I am still improving -- slowly -- and the hot weather is making things easier on me.

I know the heat is very tough on some others, but for the problems I have, it's just about perfect.

I hope you and our other readers are doing as well as can be expected and I will rejoin you as soon as I can.
