Here are four videos focussing on Vladimir Putin. The first two are very short and give an amusing insight into the man. The third and fourth videos are parts 1&2 of the documentary, "The Unknown Putin". It details the dire situation Russia was in following the predations of the jewish oligarchs and the corruption and incompetence of the Yeltsin government.
Watch for the face on the reporter in the last second of this 30 second clip!

Oleg Deripaska being treated as he should be. Putin sees the thousands of workers as having more legitimate interests than the business owners. He is obviously not impressed with their money and judges them on their behaviour.

You will see from the documentary below why Putin has no time for these exploiters when you see some of the hardship they created to amass money. The documentary is a little hard to follow as it seems to jump about a bit and the translation does not differentiate between speakers very well. But for all that, it is quite enlightening and gives a good insight into why Putin has always been very popular.

I hope to have the next in the "Why" series, "Why Russia" up in the next two days. These videos make a good introduction, I think.

Thanks
Thank you, James! I had said that I wasn't convinced that Putin was the fellow who was going to stand up to the evilarchy, but I'm beginning to see more.
You're welcome, Sullen Boy,
You're welcome, Sullen Boy, and thanks for your comment.
We can sift through the 'news' and spot the lies and manipulations but it is much harder to combat the lack of information such as what really happened in Russia under Yeltsin - who was to blame and why they did it.
I think the real situation and the battle lines are becoming very clear now
Speaking of Battle Lines
Speaking of battle lines and spotting the lies and manipulations, RT's Truthseeker is taking the gloves off with this expose. Not news to us but nevertheless encouraging to see it broadcast on a mainstream station.
BBC’s 'total fabrication from beginning to end' of Syria 'atrocity'; call to revoke visas for intel agents posing as reporters in NATO targets; CIA caught infiltrating CNN, and Operation Mockingbird is back.
Seek truth from facts with UK Member of Parliament George Galloway, Illinois University Professor of International Law Francis Boyle, investigative reporter John Helmer, ordinary Syrians and Ukraine covergirl - 'Julia'."

And there is a real shit fight going on on Twitter over the fallout from former RT reporter, Liz Wahl's, on air resignation over the Russian 'invasion' of Crimea. Turns out it was a staged event with the help of a young neo conservative writer named James Kirchuk. Big surprise!
"Kirchick was a senior fellow at FPI, the neoconservative think tank that had hyped up Wahl’s resignation minutes before she quit. Launched by Weekly Standard founder William Kristol and two former foreign policy aides to Mitt Romney, Dan Senor and Robert Kagan (the husband of Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland), FPI grew directly out of the Project for a New American Century..."
"In 2010, when FPI rose from the ashes of PNAC, whose name had become synonymous with warmongering, mendacity and strategic blundering, it pivoted away from Iraq toward “rising resurgent powers, including China and Russia,” according to its mission statement."
Finally, it looks like Putin is cleaning up and consolidating the Russian media. Methinks for the Jewish Bankster controlled War Stream Media it may be 'Game On'. Grab your sticks boys! Good thing the Russians are so good at hockey, eh?
"MOSCOW, December 9 (RIA Novosti) – The Kremlin announced Monday the dissolution of RIA Novosti, the country’s major state-run news agency, amid a significant reorganization of state-owned media assets.
News agency RIA Novosti and the state-owned Voice of Russia radio will be scrapped and absorbed into a new media conglomerate called Rossiya Segodnya, according to a decree signed by President Vladimir Putin.
The move is the latest in a series of shifts in Russia’s news landscape that appear to point toward a tightening of state control in the already heavily regulated media sector.
In a separate decree published Monday, the Kremlin appointed Dmitry Kiselyov, a prominent Russian television presenter and media manager recently embroiled in a scandal over anti-gay remarks, to head Rossiya Segodnya.
Head of the presidential administration Sergei Ivanov said the changes were about saving money and making state media more effective.
“Russia has its own independent politics and strongly defends its national interests: it’s difficult to explain this to the world but we can do this, and we must do this,” Ivanov told reporters.
The direct translation of Rossiya Segodnya is Russia Today, but the new body will apparently be separate from RT, the Kremlin-funded English-language television channel originally known as Russia Today.

The Truthseeker report really puts the lies and manipulation together in quite a devastating way. The role of the BBC has always been one of propaganda but this shows not just spinning news but actually fabricating it from whole cloth.
Desperate times!
Something to ponder
KamNam left a link at Penny's to a story at Voltaire Network which makes interesting reading and a lot of sense to me.
The principal goals in fomenting strife in Ukraine was undoubtedly the removal of the Russian Fleet from Sevastopol, and hence the Mediterranean, to allow NATO to bomb Syria and to place US missiles closer to Moscow. But a fallback benefit if it all failed would make some sense of the recklessness of the move.
Of course, the bankers and their neocons are desperate as time is running out for the bankers and their totally exploitative banking system (as the Russians and the Chinese are in the process of taking it down, or at least making it powerless over them) but I can well imagine the bankers using the argument laid out in Manlio Danucci's article to persuade others. That Europe, and Germany in particular, are gravitating towards Russia and this would be a threat to the 'world dominionists' (other than the bankers) influencing the US administration.
The rabid propaganda that is saturating the jewish controlled media is to put European politicians in a position whereby it is very difficult to question what the neocons have done and act in any way independently of the neocon line. This makes it harder for the German administration to prepare their escape from the clutches of the bankers and into an alliance with Russia.
Either way, the US hopes to introduce more missiles into Europe and deploying them closer to Russia whether in eastern or western Ukraine.

Interesting, it should be
Interesting, it should be Putin and the oligarchs as they are now inextricably linked by the impact of international sanctions.
Putin Vs Oligarchs
The oligarchs who ran Russia under Yeltsin (the subjects of the post) are either dead (berezovsky) or in exile (Abrahamovich etc)
Remaining oligarchs such as Deripaska, do not involve themselves in politics and are not linked to Putin
